Thai soups are plentiful in flavors and their many versions. The base of this vegetarian soup recipe, known as Tom Yum, is lemongrass, galangal root, lime juice, kaffir lime leaves, tomato and spices. Used whatever vegetables had in the home — zucchini, bok choy, broccoli, orange, tomato and red sweet peppers — and simply couldn’t resist adding milk.

As is Lemongrass is easily seen in Asian supermarkets. This soup is perfumed by galangal attractively, though inedible itself. It tastes medicinal and horribly camphorous if chewed the principal reason that root is used is because it generates. The base broth to get a Thai Tom Yum soup is typically fish/shrimp inventory lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, galangal root, lime juice, fish sauce, and chili peppers. Then vegetables and legumes are added in combined to garnish.
